Services: Turning It AroundIf you've ever had a counsellor suggest that, "some people just aren't meant to be together", when you were trying to save your relationship, or had one say "there's nothing I can do for you, you might as well just go to court", you can rest assured that the Canadian Co-Parenting Centres will not throw in the towel. While our professionals always follow the client's lead, and assist them in the direction that they are going, we are always open to the possibility of things turning around and people getting back together. Please note that while our professionals remain open to the possibility, they don't direct their services in ways that are inconsistent with what the clients want/need, and they realize that in many situations there is essentially no hope of people getting back together. In short, they strive to be both an eternal optimist and a pragmatic realist. Interestingly enough, the resolve to turn it around and keep the family together is advocated specifically in Canada's Divorce Act ( R.S. 1985, c. 3 (2nd Supp.) ), section 9(1) and all of section 10. __________________________________________________________
